Promoting the Achievement of international agendas: MDGs, Post 2015 Development Agenda, UN SG Campaign on VAWGs, the HeForShe Gender Equality Campaign, the Financing for Development Agenda
CAMYOSFOP has been at the centre of development agendas right from its creation in 1999. Immediately, the Millennium Development Goals were adopted in September 2000, CAMYOSFOP took the lead in mobilizing the youth towards the achievement of these goals. These goals that are 8 in number are:
- Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger;
- Achieve universal primary education;
- Promote gender equality and empower women;
- Reduce child mortality;
- Improve maternal health;
- Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases;
- Ensure environmental sustainability;
- Develop a global partnership for development.
