Patience Fule-Buang Elango

Ms Elango is a trained journalist and researcher in the field of Political and Public Communication. A UN trained Facilitator of Facilitators on Human Rights and Gender and on the role of the media in the promotion of Human Rights in electoral processes in Africa. She has been Deputy Communications and Public Relations Officer, at the defunct National Elections Observatory (NEO). She currently works with Elections Cameroon (ELECAM), as Public Relations Officer and the Focal Point for Human Rights with a special focus on Persons With Disabilities (PWDs).

From 2005 – 2008, Patience served as the Press and Information Secretary for CAMYOSFOP and as Editor-in-Chief of ‘The Voice of Peace Magazine’, a bilingual quarterly publication of CAMYOSFOP. In 2009 Patience ascended to the prestigious position of a Board Member of CAMYOSFOP.
